support@beadr.caInformation we collect
When you create an account, we collect information such as your name, email address, city, login credentials, and account activity. If you choose to verify your profile, list a vehicle, or contact another user, we may also collect phone details, listing content, photos, inspection documents, and support messages.
We also collect standard technical data needed to operate the product, including browser information, device information, IP address, page requests, and security or abuse-prevention logs.
How we use your information
We use personal information to create and secure accounts, publish and moderate listings, support messaging, investigate suspicious activity, improve product performance, and respond to support requests.
If you upload verification or inspection material, we use that information to confirm listing quality, apply platform watermarks, and reduce fraud or impersonation risks.
When we share information
We share information only when it is needed to operate the platform, comply with the law, or protect users and beadr. That can include infrastructure providers, analytics or email vendors, fraud-prevention tools, and professional advisers working under confidentiality obligations.
We may disclose limited information if required by court order, subpoena, regulatory request, or a good-faith belief that disclosure is necessary to prevent harm, fraud, or abuse.
Retention and security
We keep information only for as long as it is reasonably necessary for marketplace operations, legal compliance, dispute resolution, security monitoring, and recordkeeping. We then delete, anonymize, or archive it according to operational requirements.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect user data, but no internet-based system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
